Turn had the early start as a game changing online ad network but development delays and software fine tuning impacted the company’s ability to get out ahead of the competition. Turn needed to walk away from the ad network title and evolve into a smart exchange for online advertising buyers and sellers and attract the attention of advertisers and publishers alike.

Sparkpr’s goal was to position Turn’s CEO as an innovator from his lead roles at Overture and Alta Vista, and as a visionary who took the learnings from the search world and applied it to complex process of online ad targeting. We demonstrated the deep data tools that identified pockets of opportunities that Turn could deliver to advertisers and successfully relaunched Turn out of beta as a Smart Exchange.

Sparkpr’s relaunch of Turn secured 10 original pieces of coverage that were syndicated across the Internet and opened doors with both publishers and advertisers alike. Tier-one journalists and analysts met with Turn including Forbes, MediaPost, ClickzNews, Forrester and The Wall Street Journal. Today, every major advertising holding group has used the Turn platform to manage campaigns for some of the largest, best known brands in the world.
