Sparkpr hits the streets of SF and NY for Apple’s Launch of the iPad

What a weekend! With the big iPad reveal this past Saturday, Sparksters flocked to the Apple store in downtown San Francisco to capture the moment and snag some press attention for our clients with new apps for the Apple tablet. Our team made sure media were well informed of apps from Kobo, Nimbuzz and Warner Brothers, while our teammates in NYC public relations team rocked the sidewalks for EA Mobile. Our efforts resulted in coverage from the Wall Street Journal, AFP, CNBC, Fox Business Network, to name a few.

Not only did we get our clients into the spotlight, we also stumbled into the news ourselves … check out the VentureBeat story on the big iPad reveal countdown. How many Sparksters can you count?

Also take a peek at Sparkster Michael Selvidge’s thoughts on his new iPad for Mobile Industry Review. Hmmm…. ya think he’s a fan?

…check out the rest of the fun on Sparkpr’s Facebook page.

  1. The idea of tablet computers is nothing new; Microsoft has been working on one for years. I just believe that Apple would be better suited to try to market the iPad as something that could be used in schools or could be used as a way to revolutionize how we read our news every morning.
